all about hady
Congrats to Hady Mirza (hubby) for becoming our spore idol 2006! despite me feeling disturbed still after awin told me tt she did the 'Ole! Ole! Ole! Hady! Hady!' cheer at the balcony the night of the results show (*horror*), i'm glad he won. fortunately, those 13 votes from me didnt go to waste.
Following his win, i received an email stating tt he's an uncle now! such a cute baby!! *arrghH!*
but seriously, i wasnt prepared for the chain of shameless emails tt came rollin in afterwards...

saturday blues
I'm howling the blues this morning. Had to come in to the office to serve my penalty. i'm so enjoying this. :)
Nadz & Rabz are happily boogie-ing in Bangkok now. Together with their team from liti dept. And i am envious. So being Nadz & Rabz - theyre super sweet to send me a"Bye2" MMS of them-in-cloud-nine with all smiles, before boarding their flight ysday. Again, i'm jealous.
tsk...~
Otherwise i'll be hangin out with nadz right NOW. In our office! Talking, eating, shredding papers.. maybe..? lolz!
Oh speaking of shredding papers..lucky me, David, with his usual niceness (May God bless him!), gave me some matters to work on instead of doing bundle shreddings. So Nadz, if u see a stack full of bundles, with blinking neon lights above it screaming "YET TO BE SHRED! HELLO???!" - not my fault. Dave spoke to PG and ROA and there was an agreement made to exclude myself from doing shreds. :)
Furthermore, i'm allergic to paper dust. so i SHOULD, under ALL POSSIBLE CIRCUMSTANCES, be excused from such activities.
I am blogging at work. Violation of the office policy i know. Though i genuinely believe its applicable only on weekdays. *peace*
i'm bored.

superman
i met superman in the train a couple of days ago. no kidding. standing convincingly above 190cm, broad shoulders, chiseled jaw, sharp nose, brunette, reading a book (hello!) and cleverly disguises himself in that white shirt and tailored pants.
i was trying to see if he's wearing leotard underneath tt shirt using my x-ray vision..but i couldnt get any signal.. (just entered the tunnel).
i cursed myself for not carrying my book with me. i blew my chances of 'acting' like lois lane. *dang it!
oh well.. moving on....
dip called me up later tt evening. its almost 8 and i was on standby at work. not for IMF thingee but because the gaffer instructed us to. So me and all the other lawyers had to stay in the office just in case there's some outstanding urgent matters that requires our handling before she can make tt trip down to chicago in peace. So friday would be the start of her leave and wont be back till early october. *boogies*
so dip was tellin me tt the other time he went to my place. err ya riggght...? actually, he said he managed to locate my block via the satellite! Coolness! i quickly Googled, went to the MAP tool, clicked Satellite and zoomed in to spore from outerspace. WOW.
so i start searching for Vatican City, Great Wall of China, New York...et cetera. hell i was having fun with tt thing!!
loves it.
so friday, things seemed rather toned down back in the office.. or at least i was. but then again, i was busy clearing out stuff to amidst the 'holiday' atmosphere. can't wait for dinner with dzul later tt evening!
later we rushed down to the nearest AXS booth and scanned thru the movies for the day. i talked dzul into NOT selecting any horror movies..such a waste of money.
so we watched John Tucker Must Die. kekeke. the dude who can't keep his clothes on in desperate houswives. Nah. he's so not my type. but the other Tucker (his brother in the show) is definitely the ONE for me! *slurps*

happy 2-yrs of being an-employed-paralegal-doing-shitloads-with-not-much-savings-still to meeeee!!!!
Today marks my 2 yrs working at Drew!! Weeee~~!
Bad news: I've gained a few pounds since then.
Good news: I'm still twenty-one!
Today is also the date i last see Dip after all those times...
and bid him farewell at the airport before flying off to UK.
*sniffs*
Bad news: No more of Dip hangin out with me and my girrrlsss.... ; (
Good news: He's an engineer now ya'll!!

wags
after what seemed like a decade of not seeing his buddies - two days of intense hockey matches, blinding heat and the inevitable lineup of Wives And Girlfriends (WAGs) sums up my first sept weekend pretty nicely.
me being one of the WAGs ey? cool. though there is still smth tt could make the entire moment alot better - seeing my 3 yr old son running ard with the helmet on his head while mercilessly dragging the hockey stick :)
pfft~ yeah right, dac.
anyway i had a great time! i love seeing the other teams sweating their balls out. most importantly, i loved it when the rest (except me) kept cheering dzul on.
*grins*
hoo..kay. so i watched the Ghost Game last Saturday night. It was ok for me.. I mean watching the movie through the gaps of my fingers and having this munjenfied fella with his hat on, possibly covering almost the entire string of subtitles - is enough for me to conclude that the movie is NOT scary. sometimes i dont get it why dzul's reflexes jerked quite a few times during certain parts of the show. tsk tsk tsk.
movie was a-ok for me. considering tt before the show, i took a leak at one of the dark cubicles in Tampines Mall when i got the shock of my life after seeing something hanging on top of the thing tt separates me from the next cubicle. tt was a gd preshow scare to prep me up.
i recently downloaded some songs to my mp3 player.
