Bohemian indeed

I kept remembering that Michael Johns' performance at Hollywood week on AI when he sang Bohemian Rhapsody. And i just had to check out the Band's videos.

Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody music video scared the shit out of me, balls!!

and Freddie Mercury's vocals were super high-pitched at one point that i can hear the neighbour's cats cries begging for mercy...

*shivers!~*

awesome.

Junbugged

The brother had this new show called JUNO downloaded and i just finished watching it. I'm more of a reader than a provider of movie reviews, but this show i must publicly confess that its worth watching. At first i'm like ok, some teenage pregnancy flick? and romance in btwn? how would that be worth my goosebumps. Also because i tend to remind myself that i'm no longer a 16 yr old to be all excited about movies as such, to begin with. But after watching it, i can't deny that its all wonderfully bittersweet and funny, and i instantaneously fell in love with the script. Its not funny like Mr Bean type (i.e. no words, just awkward goondoo movements). Funny here is like wordy funny. Like Einstein funny --> E = MC2 kind.

Out of 10. I give this movie a 9.

This show made me feel like being pregnant, be a fan of checkered shirts, and play the guitar.

"If only all small Indies could be nearly as memorable or nearly as astonishing as this one is. An obvious candidate for being one of the best (and funniest) films of the year."

I couldnt agree more.

:D

* happy saturday *

Haaaa.... the weekends finally here. been waiting for this day since last weekend! Met up my friend for a discussion last night & got home like around 2 in the morning. Was not feeling good yesterday. My body, waist down to be exact, is aching all over. Especially my thighs! The aftereffects of working out at the gym, i guess :(

Got up early today, did the usual stuff. Idra left early to attend the Health Career Talk at Suntec City. And since no one is willing to go with her (come on! suntec city? at 10 am??! on a Saturday!?), my uncle - the one who is adored by many of my girlfriends (geeeez) decided to accompany her for the talk. She's been talking about it the whole week, so i guess its gonna be fun for her. ;) Wonder whats in the goodie bag. Hopefully, a Haizad Imran....Hmmm! HMM!!!

I was youtube-ing again. This time around, i stumble upon a Connie Talbot. A video of an adorable singer who made me cry on a fine Saturday morning..

cute ay? She reminds me of Lil' Dayana though :P

hehe.

can't wait for netball today. its still on right Lin?

Anyway, have a great weekend babes!

shoes and shoes

had the first netball session for the year with the netball chics! my beloved princess lin was there to layan me and my nonsense before, during and after the game! Less than 2 hours of frantic ball passings is enough to make my leg muscles ache!! And i've never sweat like that in a while, i tell u! Feels good! :) I asked Lin to sniff me after the game - to see if i stink like shit. She said 'No'. Maybe she was being polite. Hmm....

anyway, during the game i lost my footing. Uh-huh. The soles of my nike shoes started peeling on its own...and if you were to head down to the netball court like..right now... you'll see pieces of rubbers on the court. ah those are from my shoes. peace.

after the game, i hitched the ride with Lin, Fal and Fal's brother (Mr Nabil hawt) - and they were sweeeeet enough to drive me to Parkway so that i can get myself a new pair of shoes. I know....i know...i'm a sicko like that. Can't wait to get a new pair.

So Lin introduced me to her pair, Remy Zero's twin brother - Adizero. I got him at a pretty good deal!! Yeeayyy!~

heh. the shoe is very light indeed. I can even carry it with my teeth!

and as i was browsing through the other shoes...i met...

ADIGREEN!!

ahhhhhhHHH....magnific....

Ok. I'm full. *burp!~*

hehe. cant wait till next week. THREE hours of netball, ladies and gentlemen!!
Lin, get the ambulance on standby ok.

icy*cold

the Company has been really nice to us since 2008 kicked off, that we even got the whole CNY Eve OFF!

Woohoo!! Go Nappie! Go Nappie! Its your birthday! Its your birthday!

I couldve wake up like...ard noon? past 2pm maybe? but noo... Ms huda had to wake up at 7am (cos she's so excited to embrace and suck in the moment of staying awake and surf the net when she would have, on any ordinary day, be rushing off to work).

psycho.

so how'd i spend my CNY eve? Though i had to meet the rest of the family at 8pm for our reunion dinner at Crystal Jade, i got the chance to meet the boyfriend for an hour of ice-skating session! WEeeeee!!!

(Nasib baik tak jatuh! Weeee!!)

and we had his friend, Leh and his gf, Cheryl out with us as well. It was the first for me hangin out with those 2, but we got along just fine. Double date?? NOOOOO!!! -______-

Apart from having to wait at the side 'cos most of the time the boyfriend had to fix his new pair of skates because of the blister (tsk), and me being stuffed like a turkey with balls of scrapped ice by the rest of them (why God? why me!?), the day turned out well-done. :D

and Leh, our male camwhore had to snap us up. so no choice, have to pose.

taddaaaa!! (i look like a midget next to him but..) taddaaaaa!!

My verdict on the new ice skating rink at Kallang?

Not too bad actually, but couldve been better. I think the one at jurong's bigger.. and worth skating like a penguin there. Over at Kallang, the rink's slightly smaller in size (tho wider) and the ice is not as smooth so i can't do the penguin. PLUS it is ridiculously expensive HALOR! would think thrice on skating there again. :\

Rex joined us and the rest of the day was spent chilling with the guys at (ghost) Town. cheryl had to ciao early for her reunion dinner, and me? i decided to be a rebel and skip mine! hur hur! papa dont preach, i'm in trouble here!

heh.

batamians unite!

a little delay on this one, but what the heck..
Presenting the babes who roCked Batam last Saturday!! OWW OwWW!!! \m/

nvm the culture shock, such as..

up to 5 (or even more) persons on a bike, helmets not required, no such thing as 'the right of way' on the road, having introduced to weird indonesian massages and perks, being scrubbed like an asylum patient by petite harmless (female) masseuse...

it was a ball of fun.

:D

have not had that much fun and laughter with the babes in a while now, so the batam trip, indeed made us go hurray hurray the entire day.

love u girls. muacks.
