the pirate, the parent and the poster
despite the work load and neverending research, i managed to get off from work at ard 6pm on Thursday. met Ruth at dhoby ghaut station and we made our way to the sexy revampfied Cathay for our movie date!
I lurrrve Captain Jack Sparrow...Love his gold-dirtsy-teeth, twisted hairdo and gay walk! arrggh!! all thanks to ruth (and her credit card rewards), i get to watch the premiere...for FREE!! WooohOoo!~ all those in favour of great (plus FREE) movies say "Aye"!

So i was instructed by the Man of the house aka Dada/Papi/Papa to attend my sister's "Parent Teacher Meeting Session" earlier today.. crapz. Bloody uncomfortable but i gotta do what i gotta do. Be nice.
Entering the school gate sent chills to my tailbone. Felt like "errr..." what the hell am i doing here. Forced my sis to keep me company the moment i entred. The entire time, everyone had that ghastly expression as i walked with her. seems that most had to 'whisper' to my sister "idra...who?" followed by their trembling index finger. "ehh your mother? why so young???"

i dont know how i should react to that. was that a compliment? or...i look motherly? pfft..
anyway that was fun. shocked faces..wayyy-too-young boys... school garden. PRICELESS.
After the session, being a student counsellor idra had to stay put for another hour. hell! its 930!! so i made my way down to parkway..
Finally!! i signed up for that savings account and another savings cum investment a/c with the bank. Should really discipline myself to save. No choice. Having the atm and credit card in hand really doesnt do much good. thanks to that extra one month bonus this mth, i can start saving quite abit. hopefully its all good. :)
watched the encore of spore idol performance and results show. damn arent they a fun bunch to watch! the guys are hot. the girls are way too young for these hot guys' liking. so i've no qualms as to "who is in luv with who" kinda thing. good. i've to confess. i'd blush whenever hady/joakim appear - and i start fanning myself to suppress the body heat.

i need to start doing some research work. (*stress!! stress!!*) huda charges straight headfirst towards her anti-stress poster on the wall.
